SSTP VPN All of a sudden won't connect

Dec 13, 2015 Cannot access network shares by hostname over SSL VPN I decided to ping the server to see if I could reach it, no luck. Pinged by IP and got a response, same with fully qualified domain name. I can access by hostname if I add the server to my hosts file. The server I am connecting to is my DNS server, I am connecting over a Sophos Astaro SSL VPN. Anyone here using Cisco Umbrella / OpenDNS over a VPN However when users then start the VPN client, VPN connection has the DNS address 127.0.0.1 but the DNS address that would be given to VPN clients (i.e. the internal company DC) isn't in the resolv.conf file and the fileserver hostname and FQDN is unresolveable. The internal domain has been added to the Cisco Umbrella portal. What am I missing?!
